Old Barn with Double Weathervanes

Today was my first barn hunt with my new camera.  I was so exited to find this beauty!
I was pretty far from this barn, I was happy to be able to zoom far enough to capture the detail of the beautiful weathervane's.
It does my heart good to see a new roof, on this beautiful old girl!!

Good Morning Jori,
Beautiful pictures. I love the close ups of the weathervanes with the name James and just the right amount of rust. I love pictures of barns. Thank you for sharing

The weathervanes are terrific in their rusted sort of way!
The new roof was the first thing I noticed. Now if only they would follow up with a new coat of paint. :)

Love the "James" on the weathervane. That is too cute. Your pictures with the new camera are great..and your barn is a classic. I agree that it is wonderful to see the new roof. The shingles look a bit unusual for our part of VA. I have never seen them used before. genie

Great capture! Love the weathervanes and love seeing the new roof which means they are most likely restoring this old beauty.
