Old Chimney

On Christmas Eve we were whizzing down the freeway, when I spotted this lovely chimney.  It is all that remains of an old house.    I was so happy to see that somebody decorated it with a Christmas wreath!  I wish I could get a better pic.  It sits next to the freeway and there isn't a frontage road by it.

Love that someone put a wreath on it. (Probably whoever owns the property, as a way to say merry Christmas to those who drive past.)
Hope you are feeling better.

It's lovely!!
You can just imagine all the life and love that once lived in front of the old chimney and the house that it held up!!

I love that someone thought to hang a wreath there. I love it when they hang wreaths on old buildings and barns.

How charming! I wish I could see the house that used to be there with the lovely chimney inside.

Jori! That fireplace/chimney makes you wonder who built it and where the house that surrounded it went?

So cool that someone took the time to decorate that lonesome chimney.
