I am obsessed with vintage cookbooks, and had to have this one!!
When I was a girl, I LOVED helping my grandma in the kitchen. My job was to chop nuts. My grandma had a nut chopper just like this one. I HAD to have it! My other job in the kitchen was to brush the top of the bread dough with grease. My grandmother had a little brush for the job. Once my 6 year old little self stopped greasing the bread and greased up my 4 year old brothers head(while the adults were out of the room). He sat so still for me. It's one of my favorite memories. :)

You know, I can see your delightful younger daughter doing something similar with a doll or some such (I don't think K would tolerate it, lol!), so you better not give her any ideas...;o)

Those are great finds Jori, those canisters are adorable. My youngest sister once greased her whole body and used up a whole jar of Vaseline. Kids and grease...a dangerous combo lol!
