There isn't much rural action around Vegas. Tonight I was driving around while Kate was at Activity Days trying to get Hal to fall asleep. I drove past
Gilcrease Orchards. I haven't been over there in about 6 years. This tiny taste of rural in the middle of a whole lot of city made me happy. I had to pull over and take a few pictures.

Oh! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these! It's like a little oasis of calm and peace and a slower way of life in the midst of chaos. How fabulous! You really should get some of those farm eggs--there is nothing better, I promise! :o)
Jori the photos are wonderful! New camera? and the oatmeal in the last post looks delish!

We wer just talking about this place last night. Never been there, but we're planningn on it. Thanks for the link.
Love the signage! The tractor? Well, I live in rural Ky - broken down tractors are a pretty common sight. However, an orchard near Vegas seems like something worth visiting.
