I have been wanting to do the quatrefoil pattern on something FOREVER. I loved my oilcloth table, but after several months of use the oil cloth snagged and faded. I thought a quatrefoil table top would be fun.
I started by downloading a stencil from here. I then traced the stencil onto the table. I painted with Craft Smart turquoise from Michaels. After the paint dried I sprayed with clear Rustoleum. It was easier than I thought it would be. I want to do walls next! I am glad I practiced on my table first. :)

So impressive! I love it. I think I like it even better than the oilcloth. It really is beautiful, and color looks great in your kitchen.
Well darn. you never seize to amaze me Cupcake.
I just wandered over to the site, and that tutorial is way too complicated for this chick.
You did an amazing job...and your kitchen is so darn neat, looks like we could eat off the floor.

Aren't you glad you didn't take that table out to the trash? It's gone through two amazing transformations and just keeps getting better! ;)
