I saw
this awesome project and realized I had everything on hand for it!! I grabbed two pickle jars from the fridge, they both had just pickle juice in them. Niiiiiice. SO I got busy washing the jars, spray painted the candlesticks and lids, and filled with candy! I think they are SO cute, and it's a couple less things in a landfill right?? Do you remember this ugly Pottery Barn frame I found at a thrift store for 2.00?? The frame had never been used, and even though it was butt ugly it was PB, and was extra thick and sturdy. Welll I thought it would make a fun Easter decoration. I spray painted it pink, pulled out my sander and distressed it and used one of my
vintage bunny images from my
etsy shop! I love cute, cheap decor! So between the frame and the jars this project was 6.00!

Ok there Cupcake girlfriend, I LOVE THIS ONE. Who would have known that pickles had more than a "crunch" to it.
Those would fit right into my pink cottage.
BTW... did you take a peek at the inside of our little cottage home? It's where the Audrey Hepburn pic. is.
Just thought you would like to see why your sweet things today would fit right in : )

Very cute. This year is the first year I didn't decorate for Easter. I wonder why? I just didn't feel the urge...maybe you did it for me!
So cute. I wish I'd had you as a resource when my kids were little and my pickle jars were full of just juice!
Very cute! Like it :)
Happy PS!
This is absolutely adorable! You do such cute work. I love it when something that would normally be discarded is turned into something that adorable. Great job!
Happy Pink Saturday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Happy Pink Saturday! I love all of your cute pink projects and your Target imitation! How fun is that. I am going to have to go to the Dollar store and get some candlesticks. This is too clever and easy and using the plastic plates, so affordable too. Fun mother's day project for some young girls.
How cute. Who knew pickle jars could be so darling.
HPS
Your candy jars turned out great! You're right about that frame-but you sure fixed it up. I like the distressing. Terri

You are something else! I would have never thought of using my pickle jars for anything, but the trash. You took them and made something very nice. What a creative mind.

Adorable! I am already counting in my head how many pickle jars I have....
One never knows what items are laying around to use in our projects.
Love the painted candle sticks. I am now just realizing that most things can be painted, opens up a whole new mindset.
Thanks for sharing.
